Circulation

HUMAN CIRCULATORY SYSTEM

The human circulatory system consists of three main kinds of blood vessels:

  1. Arteries: These thick-walled blood vessels carry blood away from the heart.
  2. Veins: These thinner-walled blood vessels carry blood back to the heart
  3. Capillaries: These ultra-thin walled bloow vessels occur in tissues and connect arteries to veins.
